Nigel Johns has more than 20 years of operational policing experience with the Queensland Police Service (QPS), serving in a range of investigative roles, including child protection, counter-terrorism, major crime, and frontline leadership positions. His experience includes State Crime Command, the Child Protection and Investigation Unit, Security and Counter Terrorism Command, and operational leadership as a Shift Supervisor in South Brisbane, where he gained significant experience in the investigation and management of domestic and family violence matters. Having witnessed the rapid evolution of technology-enabled crime throughout his law enforcement career, Nigel joined Cellebrite in 2024 and is the Investigation and Intelligence Unit Specialist for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, he partners with investigators, intelligence practitioners, forensic specialists, and command staff to address challenges associated with digital evidence, forensic analysis, and investigative workflows, helping agencies achieve their operational objectives and deliver improved investigative outcomes.
