Lesley Honeyman

Lesley has over thirty years of public sector experience in the intelligence and security field, both at the state and federal level.  Her experience includes providing leadership across cyber governance, cyber risk and compliance, cyber operations, law enforcement intelligence, major event planning, policy and risk management.  In November 2024 Lesley was appointed as the Director, Security GRC for Department of Customer Service.  In her previous role as the Director Operations for Cyber Security NSW, Lesley centrally managed and coordinated cyber incidents across NSW Government.   Lesley is the currently the Community of Practice Coordinator to the of the Australian Institute of Professional Intelligence Officers.  She has received two Deputy Commissioners Commendations for her intelligence leadership roles during the Lindt Café and 2000 Sydney Olympic Games.
