Jake Ramsay

Jake Ramsay drives the strategic positioning of Planet's Defence & Intelligence business in Australia and New Zealand. Specialising in Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and the defence industry, Jake helps national security organisations leverage daily satellite imagery to maximize operational advantage and strengthen decision-making surrounding maritime security and regional defence postures. 

Prior to joining Planet, Jake has worked in a number of technology account executive roles  including Jane’s and Fivecast, working closely with Australia’s defence and intelligence communities to solve increasingly complex challenges arising from terrorism and foreign intelligence interference. Jake built extensive international experience across Southeast Asia as a political and security risk analyst for both government and corporate customers.

Jake holds a PhD in Southeast Asian Studies.
