Helen Glazebrook is a leading criminal intelligence expert who has applied her skills across a broad range of intelligence environments over the last twenty-five years including law enforcement, national security, regulatory, corrective services and the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission where she spent 15 years as a Senior Specialist Intelligence Analyst.

Over her career Helen has developed intelligence response capabilities for both state and federal government agencies, including Queensland Corrective Services providing recommendations to enhance intelligence practice, process, capabilities, technologies and legislative amendments.

More recently Helen has been assisting Australian Border Force build their intelligence capability framework for Detention Operations and delivered a Current State Intelligence Review for Western Australia Corrections.

Helen undertook a Winston Churchill Fellowship on international best practice in corrections intelligence and was awarded the AIPIO Publication Award in 2023. Helen has a degree in Justice Studies from Queensland University of Technology and is the convenor of the AIPIO Community of Practice for Corrections Intelligence and an expert panel member for the Office of the Inspector of Prisons in Ireland.
