Frank Trimboli
Frank has 14 years’ experience in intelligence and investigations across themes of organised crime, counterterrorism and public sector corruption. He is an experienced educator with a keen interest in combining qualitative and quantitative information to find new insights and solutions to existing challenges.
Frank started his analytical career at Victoria Police as an analytical support officer before working his way through roles as an analyst, senior analyst and manager over seven years. Frank worked on multiple high profile terrorism and organised crime investigations, and received a divisional commendation for his work in the Joint Analyst Group for the Operation Rising - Anzac Day terrorism threat in 2015.
At the Department of Justice and Community Safety, Frank has worked as a Senior Investigator, Assistant Director of integrity and corruption investigations, and currently as Senior Manager, Intelligence and Detection. Over the past 3 years he has focussed on building an intelligence and digital forensic capability to support the prevention, detection and response to integrity and corruption concerns within the department.
Frank’s academic qualifications include a Masters of Journalism and postgraduate certificate in Policing, Intelligence and Counter-terrorism.
