Cameron is a security and intelligence professional with more than 25 years’ experience across the Australian Intelligence Community, Defence and critical infrastructure sectors. He currently leads enterprise protective security policy and assurance for a national critical infrastructure provider, strengthening security capability and enabling risk-informed decision-making across a complex operating environment. He is particularly interested in the practical application of intelligence to support organisational resilience and national security outcomes.
Cameron began his career as an intelligence officer in the Commonwealth Government before transitioning into senior security leadership roles within the Defence industry and, more recently, the critical infrastructure sector. He also serves in a part-time role as a senior officer in the Australian Army, where his current role is focussed on force modernisation.
