Arran Hassell
Arran Hassell CSC is Chairman of the Board, part-owner and a Principal Consultant at Protegas Australia (an intelligence professional services company). He commenced his intelligence career in 2002 and has worked as an analyst in the Defence Intelligence Organisation, as an intelligence team leader in the United States’ Pacific Command’s Intelligence and Operations Centre, as the senior intelligence officer in the Australian national military headquarters in East Timor, and as a senior analyst in the coalition headquarters in Afghanistan. Arran has also been responsible for the Australian Army’s intelligence training and he has commanded the Defence Force’s School of Intelligence.
Currently Arran delivers training to intelligence leaders and runs intelligence based decision making training for organisational decision makers. Arran is also a Brigadier in the Army Reserve and currently commands the Army Reserve’s 8th Brigade (conducts individual training for the Army Reserve), he is Vice President of the Returned and Services League of Queensland, and Patron of Young Diggers (a not for profit organisation that provides assistance dogs for veterans and first responders).
